Component speakers help you experience superior tonal clarity, a superior sound stage and more accurate imaging. The rugged speakers come equipped with high-powered Y30 strontium ferrite magnets contained in heavy-gauge, powder-coated stamped steel baskets. This ensures sufficient magnet force for high sensitivity and accurate sound reproduction.
Speakers feature a 1" high-temperature KSV coil that floats on a high-quality cloth spider with polyester fiber and UV-protected low-mass woven fiber paper cones with soft butyl foam surrounds. The result is smooth, fast, hard-hitting sonic playback. An external, competition-grade 12dB Linkwitz-Riley crossover blends highs and lows together for exceptional balance.
The 3-way kit includes a 3" dynamic audiophile mid-range and two large, 25mm silk diaphragm tweeters for smooth and accurate treble as well as detail and clarity in the middle frequencies. These high-end car speakers also feature a custom-designed pole piece for low distortion and sound quality and fully isolated tinsel leads to eliminate crosstalk. FC6.3 speakers offer power of 150W RMS, 300W max and 600W peak at 4 Ohm.
